TCFC Fencing Club participated in two Regional Tournaments in September. On September 8th and 9th at the Motor City Regional Tournament in Pontiac MI. We had 8 fencers paticipate in a great way to kick off the season.
On September 22nd-24th our competitive team fenced phenomenally at the Grand Rapids Regional Tournament. Four fencers received medals: Achiel placed 8th in Y14 Mens Epee, Isabella placed 8th in Y14 Women's Epee, Ella placed 8th in Y12 Women's Epee, and Saige placed 5th in Y12 Women's Epee. The weekend was filled with solid and steady fencing by Addy, Colton, Evan, Ella and Achiel to fierce fencing by Saige and Addy to dramatic comebacks by Isabella....lots of fist pumping, crying and laughing and lots of fun.
